Henry Kite 
Henry was born about 1770 in Rockingham Co., VA. Henry's father was Philip Kite and his mother was Mary. His paternal grandparents were John Wendel Kite and Hannah Medlicott. He had six brothers and a sister, named Christian, Michael, Benjamin, William, John, Philip and Mary. He was the oldest of the eight children.-
