George Kite 
George was born in 1790 in Rockingham County, VA. George's father was Martin Kite and his mother was Catharine Kiser. His paternal grandparents were William Kite and Catharine Smith; his maternal grandparents were Michael Kiser and Anna Maria Lingel. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Jacob C., John, David, James, Elizabeth and Mary. He died at the age of 73 in 1863.-
