Sarah Hughes

Sarah was born in 1803 in Of Sullivan County, Tennessee.  Sarah's father was Abner Hughes and her mother was Rebecca Woodward. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, John, James, Abner, Rebecca, Elizabeth and Mary.  She was the second oldest of the eight children. She had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named William, Joseph, Benjamin, Jeremiah, Maria, Louisa, Elizabeth and Lucinda.  She died at the age of 84 in 1887.
