John Hitt 
John was born on October 18th, 1746 in , Fauquier, Virginia. John's father was Harman Hitt and his mother was Mary Weaver. His paternal grandparents were Peter Hitt and Elizabeth Otterbach; his maternal grandparents were Tillman Weaver Or Weber and Ann Elizabeth Cuntz. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Moses, Joseph, Peter, Jesse, Martin, Benjamin, Daniel, Samuel, Elizabeth, Mary Ann and Sarah. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 36 in 1782 in , , South Carolina.-
