John Helton

John was born in 1848 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.  John's father was John Helton and his mother was Charity. He had six brothers and three sisters, named William, Joshua, Wiley, Orvis, George, Jesse, Jane, Lavinia and Ann.  He was the second youngest of the ten children.
