Elizabeth Grandstaff 
Elizabeth was born about 1797 in Shenandoah County, Virginia. Elizabeth's father was Philip Grandstaff and her mother was Elizabeth Hass. Her paternal grandparents were George Grandstaff Bishoff and Hass. She had six brothers and four sisters, named George, John, Benjamin, Philip, Jonathan E., Samuel, Rebecca, Mary E., Katherine and Grandstaff.
