William Jefferson Goff 
William Jefferson was born on January 18th, 1853. William Jefferson's father was Robert Oliver Goff and his mother was Elizabeth Gardiner. His paternal grandparents were William Goff and Mary Oliver; his maternal grandparents were Philip Gardiner and Dicie. He had five brothers and five sisters, named George Washington, James H., Benjamin Franklin, Charles A., John Fletcher, Dicie, Amanda Jane, Martha Hannah, Sheba Elizabeth and Cintilla. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 43 on March 19th, 1896.-
