Rachel Gillenwater 
Rachel was born on March 12th, 1807 in Rogersville, Hawkins, Tennessee. Rachel's father was Thomas Gillenwater and her mother was Mary Mallory Wilkins. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Gillenwater and Martha; her maternal grandparents were William Wilkins and Elizabeth Terrell. She had four brothers and five sisters, named William Terrell, Robert Wilkins, Joel, Thomas Jefferson, Elizabeth, Martha Or Patsy, Nancy, Mary Ann and Sarah. She was the third youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 54 on July 20th, 1861.-
