Sarah D. George

Sarah D. was born in 1813 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.  Sarah D.'s father was James Jordan George and her mother was Nancy Dugger.  Her paternal grandparents were James George and Elizabeth Nodan; her maternal grandparents were Julius Caesar Dugger and Mary Hall. She had three brothers and four sisters, named James Dugger, William Jordan, John H., Mary, Edna, Charlotte and Margaret.  She was the fourth oldest of the eight children. She had two half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Charles Nodan, Hugh, Sarah, Elizabeth, Nancy, Frances and Eliza.
