Mary Or Polly was born on April 29th, 1796 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee. Mary Or Polly's father was James Forgey and her mother was Margaret F. Caldwell. Her paternal grandparents were Andrew Forgey and Margaret. She had a brother and six sisters, named James Reynolds, Margaret, Ann, Ellen, Matilda, Elizabeth and Rachel. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 37 on December 6th, 1833 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.-
