James Edgar Erwin

James Edgar was born on August 14th, 1874 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.  James Edgar's father was John Erwin and his mother was Minerva Jane Smith.  His paternal grandparents were David Erwin and Sarah Hawley; his maternal grandparents were Martin Smith and Sarah A.. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Devreau Erwin, John Walter, Effie P., Marie Emma, Olenia and Sarah Angie.  He was the oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 87 on April 10th, 1962.
