Charles Eals 
Charles was born in 1858 in , Bourbon, Kentucky. Charles' father was Henry C. Eals and his mother was Amanda Talbott. His paternal grandparents were James Eals and Lucy Wyatt; his maternal grandparents were Henry Talbott and Mary Frazier. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Harry, Frazier, Ashby, Thomas, Sidney, Lucy, Kate and Amanda. He was the second oldest of the nine children.-
