Agness Doty Or Dowty 
Agness was born on October 16th, 1833 in Franklin Twsp., Wayne, Ohio. Agness' father was Joseph Picket Doty and her mother was Catharine Ann Parr. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Doty and Rosanna Sowards; her maternal grandfather was John Parr. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Moses, David, Joseph Picket, Sarah, Mary Ellen, Anna C., Nancy Jane and Editha J.. She was the second oldest of the nine children. She had a half-brother and five half-sisters, named Jasper Newton, Sarah D., Capitola, Margaret, Ida Isora and Minnie A.. She died at the age of 60 on October 28th, 1893 in Moccasin Twsp., Effingham, Illinois.-
