Walter Houston Dickson 
Walter Houston was born on March 13th, 1899 in Mesquite, Texas. Walter Houston's father was George Washington Dickson and his mother was Lucy Jane Shipley. His paternal grandparents were John Dickson and Elizabeth T. Lizenby; his maternal grandparents were Nathan Roller Shipley and Mary Ann Fansler. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Brady Miller, Benjamin Harrison, John Nathan Elbert, Cora Ann, Rose Virginia, Margaret Bell, Alva Nicklas, Mary Elizabeth, Allie Florence and Ida Lee. He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 70 on April 26th, 1969.-
