Pleasant C. Dickson

Pleasant C. was born in 1830 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.  Pleasant C.'s father was William Howard Dickson and his mother was Mary Shipley.  His paternal grandparents were John Shipley and Rachel Howard. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John, William Samuel, Nathan Shipley, Elizabeth, Margaret and Mary.  He was the second youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 31 in 1861.
