Richard Courthope 
Richard was born in 1534 in , Cranbrook, Kent, England. Richard's father was William Courthope and his mother was Joan Sharpy. His maternal grandparents were John Sharpy and Agnes Hendley. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Robert, Walter, Agnes, Joan, Mary, Rose and Margaret. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.-
