William Cope

William was born in 1809 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.  William's father was James Cope and his mother was Elizabeth.  His paternal grandfather was Cope. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Andrew, John, Micajah, Elizabeth, Susan, Marietta and Tempe.  He was the third oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 51 in 1860.
