Micajah Cope

Micajah was born in 1814 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.  Micajah's father was James Cope and his mother was Elizabeth.  His paternal grandfather was Cope. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Andrew, John, William, Elizabeth, Susan, Marietta and Tempe.  He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 73 in 1887.
