Mossie Ethel was born on December 17th, 1892 in Lee Valley, Hawkins, Tennessee. Mossie Ethel's father was Charles D. Cope and her mother was Reinosa Starnes. Her paternal grandparents were John W. Cope and Nancy Or Cora Frost; her maternal grandparents were Pleasant Henderson Starnes and Mary Jane Starnes. She had a brother and four sisters, named James D., May, Nancy Jane, Kate and Charley Delphia. She was the second youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 85 on April 28th, 1978.-
