Kate Cope 
Kate was born on February 21st, 1891 in Lee Valley, Hawkins, Tennessee. Kate's father was Charles D. Cope and her mother was Reinosa Starnes. Her paternal grandparents were John W. Cope and Nancy Or Cora Frost; her maternal grandparents were Pleasant Henderson Starnes and Mary Jane Starnes. She had a brother and four sisters, named James D., May, Nancy Jane, Mossie Ethel and Charley Delphia. She was the third youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 59 on October 31st, 1950.-
