George Cope 
George was born in 1852 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. George's father was John W. Cope and his mother was Nancy Or Cora Frost. His maternal grandfather was William Frost. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Robert R., Charles D., Manila, Mary E., Sela Jane and Jane. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
