Eleanor's father was John Conyers The "Robin Of Redesdale" and her mother was Margaret Darcy. Her paternal grandparents were Christopher Conyers and Ellene Rylleston; her maternal grandparents were Philip Darcy 6th Baron Darcy and Eleanor Fitz Hugh 3rd Lord Fitz Hugh. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named John, Richard, Christopher, Henry, Philip, Robert, William, Elizabeth, Joan, Margaret and Margery.-
