William Christian 
William was born about 1794 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee. William's father was Lewis Christian and his mother was Margaret Felkner. His paternal grandfather was Thomas Christian. He had five brothers and six sisters, named John, Thomas, Allen, Lewis, James, Mary, Elizabeth, Nancy, Sarah, Margaret and Lucinda. He was the second youngest of the twelve children.
