George Washington Byars 
George Washington was born in 1828 in Washington County, Virginia. George Washington's father was George Washington Byars and his mother was Ann Blessing. His maternal grandparents were Jacob Blessing and Elizabeth Messersmith. He had three brothers and three sisters, named James Allen, John, Thomas, Eliza Jane, Mary Ann and Susan. He was the oldest of the seven children.-
