Abner Brown 
Abner was born about 1726 in NC. Abner's father was William Brown and his mother was Charity Holmes. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Brown and Christian Maule; his maternal grandparents were John Holmes and Tamar Bird. He had three brothers and three sisters, named James, Hardy, William, Charity, Mary and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the seven children.-
