John R. Blessing 
John R. was born on November 25th, 1814 in Mason County, Virginia. John R.'s father was Abraham Blessing and his mother was Catherine. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Blessing and Elizabeth Ritschart. He had four brothers and a sister, named Leander, Abraham, Gideon, Blessing and Blessing. He died at the age of 48 on April 10th, 1863.-
