Nicholas Amos 
Nicholas was born on August 15th, 1771 in , Hartford, Maryland. Nicholas' father was Nicholas Day Amos and his mother was Christiana Ditto. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Amos and Elizabeth Day. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named Mordecai, Thomas, Benjamin, Abraham Ditto, Ditto, Elijah, William Cook, Elizabeth, Mary, Nancy, Christiana, Sarah and Bethia. He was the sixth oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 76 on September 20th, 1847 in , Bourbon, Kentucky.-
