Her paternal grandparents were John Knox TATE and Rachel CARMICHAEL; her maternal grandparents were Peter ANDERSON and Sanai ROBERTS. She had four brothers and five sisters, named John K. , David M. , James Bricy , Joseph , Rachel Tennessee, Matilda Ann (Anna) , Abigail, Margarette A. and Virginia Comfort "Jennie". She was the oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 31 on August 31st, 1876 in Marion Co, TN.-
