Mildred was born in 1747 in Nelson Co., KY. Mildred's father was John BLAND and her mother was Margaret OSBORNE. Her paternal grandparents were William * BLAND and Catherine (KEY) KAY. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Osborne, Samuel *, John , Elijah, Isaac, Daniel , William , Prudence, Frances and Mary (Molly) . She was the oldest of the eleven children.-
