His paternal grandparents were Alfred Phillip ANDERSON and Charlotta Mary "Lottie" COFFELT; his maternal grandparents were Malachi James WESTON and Nancy Marintha ANDRESS. He had six brothers and three sisters, named William H., Andrew Jackson, Alfred Peter "Alf", Thomas Jesse, Isaac W. "Ike", Leonard "Linndy", Mary Ann (Twin), Sarah Ann (Twin) and Nancy C. "Nan" . John and Inez live in Blackbottom,Winchester, Franklin Co., TN
I've asked some folks about where "Blackbottom" was. Calvin Rieben told me that Blackbottom was in the southeastern section of Winchester; roughly along the Boiling Fork between the Old Cowan Road and the Dinah Shore Blvd (Hwy 41A going to Decherd). The old mill (image from a post card that I sent) would have been in that area; the mill site was in its later days was owned by the McDowell family.

John an Inez lived next door to Frances Rose Shore and her family. Frances left home when she was about 15 years old to become a singer in Hollywod. It looks like she made it to the top, she is better known as Dinah Shore.

Note:
John was a big man, 6'1" weighed around 235, with a big smile for everyone. When he was young he was called "Big John". Once he got mad at a horse for kicking him and knocked him out with a punch between the eyes.
When he lived in Huntsville, AL he worked at the Lincoln Textile Mill and lived in a Company house. When the Mill closed he moved his family
to Homewood IL, They lived there about 2 years and moved to Indianapolis. John was a plumber by trade.
