Hannah was born in 1706. Hannah's father was James Sisson and her mother was Lydia Hathaway. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Sisson and Mary Atkinson; her maternal grandparents were Arthur Hathaway and Sarah Cooke. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named Jonathan, Philip, Thomas, James, Thomas, John, Richard, Sarah, Content, Hannah, Rebecca and Mary.-
