Martha Gandy was born in 1857 in Ocean City, NJ.1 Martha Gandy's father was Henry Shaw and her mother was Rebecca Mattox Gandy. Her maternal grandparents were John Gandy and Martha Corson. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Francis Gandy, Lewis Corson Gandy, Lewis Corson Gandy, Irving C, Harry DeMott, Ida and Eliza DeMott. She was the oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 66 in 1923 in , Salem, NJ.1 -
