Joan (Juana) I de Navarre was born in Bar-Sur-Seine, Aube, France.1   Joan (Juana) I de Navarre's father was Henri I the Fat de Troyes King of Navarre and her mother was Blanche Capet de Artois.  Her paternal grandparents were Theobald I de Navarre King of Navarre and Marguerite de Bourbon; her maternal grandparents were Robert Capet de Artois I Ct de Artois and Mathilde de Brabant. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Henry of, John, Thomas and Mary.  She died on April 2nd, 1305 in Château de Vincennes Paris, Val-de-Marne, France.1
