Samuel Mather 
Samuel was born in 1651 in Dorchester, Suffolk, MA.1 Samuel's father was Timothy Mather and his mother was Catherine Atherton. His paternal grandparents were Richard Mather and Katherine Hoult; his maternal grandparents were Humphrey Atherton and Mary Wales. He had four brothers and a sister, named Richard, Nathaniel, Joseph, Atherton and Catherine. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 76 in 1727 in Windsor, Harftord, CT.1 -
