Leopold II was born about 1055 in of Tulln, Niederoesterreich, Austria.1 Leopold II's father was Ernst "the Valiant" Mar de Austria and his mother was Adelheid Pss of Ostmark. His paternal grandparents were Adalbert "the Victorious" Mar de Austria and Orseolo Frowila Pss of Venice; his maternal grandparents were Dedi II Mar de Ostmark and Oda Pss of Lausatia. He was an only child. He died on October 12th, 1096.1 -
