Clarissa Ann was born on December 20th, 1791 in , Lincoln, NC. Clarissa Ann's father was Joseph Mahaffey and her mother was Elizabeth Cathey. Her maternal grandparents were William Cathey and Rebecca Holeman. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, Hugh, Andrew Deaver, John Thomas, William, David, Rebecca Jane, Mary, Ann and Elizabeth. She died at the age of 49 on November 17th, 1841 in , Henderson, TN. She was buried in Antioch Cemetery, Lexington, Henderson, TN.-
