Abijah Gandy 
Abijah was born on September 20th, 1791 in , Cumberland, NJ.1 Abijah's father was Henry Harris Gandy and his mother was Tamson Garrison. His paternal grandparents were Abijah Gandy and Mary Sheppard. He had a brother and six sisters, named George Washington, Mary, Phebe, Matilda, Ruth Sheppard, Tamson and Polly Shepherd. He had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Henry H, Shepherd M, John S, Margaret, Hannah, Rachel, Sarah Ann and Elizabeth Sheppard. He died at the age of 65 on April 5th, 1857 in Leesburg, Union, OH. He was buried in 1857 in Brannon Cemetery, Leesburg, OH.1 1 -
