Abel Galland

Abel was born on March 9th, 1789 in NJ.¹   Abel's father was Matthew Galland and his mother was Hannah Fenno.  His paternal grandparents were James Galland and Hannah Guilvance; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Fenno and Mary Allen. He had three brothers and a sister, named Isaac, Matthew, David and Mary Polly.  He was the oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 68 in 1857 in Shelby, Shelby, IA.¹
