James E was born in 1883 in Flat Rock, Mason, WV.1 James E's father was Richard Entwistle and his mother was Mary Hiscox. His maternal grandparents were John Sidney Hiscox and Ellen Connelly. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John, Austin, Joseph A, Richard Vere, Nellie, Maggie, Isabel and Grace. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 81 on March 29th, 1964 in Sycamore, DeKalb, IL. He was buried in 1964 in Elmwood Cemetery, Sycamore, IL.1 1 -
