Roger de Mortimer was born on May 3rd, 1287 in of Netherwood, Thornbury, Herefordshire, England.1 Roger de Mortimer's father was Edmund de Mortimer Baron Wigmore and his mother was Margaret de Fiennes. His paternal grandparents were Roger de Mortimer Baron Wigmore and Maud de Braose; his maternal grandparents were William de Fiennes and Blanche de Brienne. He had two sisters named Isolde (Iseude) and Matilda. He was the youngest of the three children. He died due to Executed via hanging at command of Edward III. at the age of 43 on November 29th, 1330 in Elms, Tyburn, Warwickshire, England.1 -
