William Cary 
William was born in 1729 in Windham, Windham, CT.1 William's father was Eleazer Cary and his mother was Lydia Throope. His paternal grandparents were John Cary and Abigail Penniman; his maternal grandparents were William Throope and Mary Chapman. He had a brother and eight sisters, named Eleazer, Abigail, Ann, Eliza, Mary, Martha, Sarah, Alathea and Lydia. He was the youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 79 in 1808 in Lempster, Sullivan, NH.1 -
