Hugh Beggs 
Hugh was born in 1846. Hugh's father was Robert Beggs and his mother was Janet (Jennie) Magee. His paternal grandparents were Robert Beggs and Sarah Whiteford. He had eight brothers and a sister, named Samuel, James, William James, Thomas, Robert, John, Joseph, Hugh and Margaret. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died before 1861.-
