Eugeniusz was born on January 10th, 1937.  Eugeniusz's father was Marcin Piwowarczyk and his mother was Aniela Piwowarczyk (Gondek).  His paternal grandparents were Wojciech Piwowarczyk and Joanna Piwowarczyk (Suchta). He had a brother and four sisters, named Bronisław (ksiądz), Helena, Julianna, Władysława and Monika.  He is the youngest of the six children.
