Leokadia was born on December 11th, 1922.  Leokadia's father was Jakub Broda and her mother was Katarzyna Broda (Piwowarczyk).  Her maternal grandparents were Wojciech Piwowarczyk and Joanna Piwowarczyk (Suchta). She had three brothers named Antoni, Mieczysław and Czesław.  She was the second youngest of the four children.  She died at the age of 82 on September 10th, 2005.



Leokadia's family

Leokadia and Jan were married.  They had two sons and a daughter, named Zbigniew, Bogusław and Barbara.
