Nicolaas van Blerk 
Nicolaas was born on April 12th, 1905. Nicolaas' father was Jan Albertus van Blerk and his mother was Elizabeth Johanna van der Merwe (van Blerk). His paternal grandparents were Simon Petrus van Blerk and Jacomina Hendrina Louw (van Blerk). He had two brothers named Jan Albertus and Pieter Gerhardus Louw. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 73 in 1978. He was buried in Strand, Goedehoop cemetery.General Notes
Born in Warrenton.
Intellectual person.
Was involved with Prof Smit and developing the Afrikaans Dictionary. Name still in the cover of the book.
