Václav was born on September 24th, 1700 in Miskolezy, Česká Skalice.  Václav's father was Fridrich Mojžíš and his mother was Magdalena.  His paternal grandparents were Jan Mojžíš and Maruša??. He had a brother and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Jan, Ludmila, Ludmila, Zuzana and Dorota.  He was the oldest of the six children. He had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Martin, Jan, Josef, Fridrich, Dorota, Anna, Rozina and Ludmila.
