William Tetherly

William was born on January 8th, 1730. William's father was William Tetherly and his mother was Mercy Spinney. His maternal grandparents were John Spinney and Mary Diamond. He had a brother and eight sisters, named John, Mary, Mercy, Ruth, Elizabeth, Susana, Elennor, Anne and Catherine. He was the seventh oldest of the ten children.
