John Tetherly

John was born in 1734. John's father was William Tetherly and his mother was Mercy Spinney. His maternal grandparents were John Spinney and Mary Diamond. He had a brother and eight sisters, named William, Mary, Mercy, Ruth, Elizabeth, Susana, Elennor, Anne and Catherine. He was the nineth oldest of the ten children.
