Oliver W. Spinney

Oliver was born in 1810 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Oliver's father was Ebenezer Spinney and his mother was Mehitable Fernald. His paternal grandparents were Nathaniel Spinney and Lois Webber; his maternal grandparents are Benjamin Fernald and Sarah Beaver. He had five brothers and a sister, named Ebenezer, Nathaniel, James, Arthur, Simon and Catherine. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 98 in May 1908.
