Catherine Spinney

Catherine was born in 1820 in St. George, New Brunswick. Catherine's father was Ebenezer Spinney and her mother was Mehitable Fernald. Her paternal grandparents were Nathaniel Spinney and Lois Webber; her maternal grandparents are Benjamin Fernald and Sarah Beaver. She had six brothers named Ebenezer, Oliver, Nathaniel, James, Arthur and Simon. She was the sixth oldest of the seven children.
